These minimalist design downlights are complete fittings, incorporating a solid powder coated aluminium lamp body, LED emitter, heatsink, and external 240v mains powered low voltage 320mA DC driver.  The 7W 240v LED downlight uses a standard 4-way CREE MC-E module, but the large heatsink design allows the LED emitter to be driven harder for an equivalent standard halogen lamp output of over 60 Watts, yet uses only a fraction of the electricity to run and will outlast up to twenty five standard halogen GU10 lamps.  This Warm White model is supplied fitted with a wide 120 degree clear lens for a focused, crisp beam of light, similar to a tungsten halogen lamp.  A frosted lens is available as an optional accessory.

With their high light output and wide beam angle, we expect these lamps to primarily be of interest for those designing new low energy lighting projects.  However, depending on the design of your existing GU10 lamp fittings, it may be possible to retro-fit these lamps into existing lighting installations.  If you intend to replace existing fittings with these lamps, please check that original ceiling cutout is the same size or smaller before ordering.

These minimalist design downlights are complete fittings, incorporating a solid powder coated aluminium lamp body, LED emitter, heatsink, and external 240v mains powered low voltage 320mA DC driver.  The 7W 240v LED downlight uses a standard 4-way CREE MC-E module, but the large heatsink design allows the LED emitter to be driven harder for an equivalent standard halogen lamp output of over 70 Watts, yet uses only a fraction of the electricity to run and will outlast up to twenty five standard halogen GU10 lamps.  This Cool White model is supplied fitted with a wide 120 degree clear lens for a focused, crisp beam of clean natural light without the slightest hint of blue for a modern hi-tech look more suited to daylight applications.  A frosted lens is available as an optional accessory.
