Although these Interlux 5w GU10 LED spotlights are manufactured using older multiple surface mount device (SMD) technology, they claim to consume only 5 Watts to produce an impressive 400lm output in warm white at a somewhat vague 2,700-3,500k. The use of the older SMD LED's makes them much cheaper to manufacture, hence the low price. You'll know from your research that 400lm from 5 Watts is very good indeed, so give these lamps serious consideration. According to EU guidelines, 400 lumens of LED light is equivalent to a 35 Watt traditional lamp.

There's no lens to control the beam angle of these lamps, so the angle is stated at 120 degrees, which should still be okay for general lighting purposes at lower ceiling heights, but less suitable for accent lighting. Be warned about that wide colour temperature range. Typically, warm white lamps should be 3,000k or less, ideally hitting 2,700k.
