These GU10 LED spotlights from Kosnic are a potential budget alternative to the top quality lamps from Aeon. Clearly, they don't have the claimed lumen output of the top-end lamps in the Aeon range, but have a good build quality, so are worth considering for lower light level applications or where a drop in light output compared to 50w halogens would be acceptable. If you've done your research, you'll know that 300lm is pretty good for a 5w LED GU10 in warm white. According to EU guidelines, a 300 lumen LED lamp is equivalent to a traditional 28 Watt lamp.

The manufacturer's stated output of 300lm is at a colour temperature of 3000k with a 36 degree beam angle. You may find these a little on the cool side for warm white.
