4w LED Light Bulb 40-50w Equiv. (Warm White)

This new light bulb is designed to replace standard light bulbs used throughout the home with a light output equivalent to a 40-50w incandescent (GLS) lamp. The bulb uses a CREE 4w MC-E module and the clever diffuser cap ensures a wide dispersal of the available light in a natural pattern similar to that of a standard GLS lamp. This Warm White version comes with a standard bayonet fitting.

The lamp is well constructed with a ceramic insulator and chrome plated cast alloy heatsink. The diffuser cap is formed in thick frosted glass. The manufacturer estimates a 50,000 hour lifetime for this lamp, which equates to around 20 years average use. LED lightbulbs contain no mercury, emit no UV or IR light and last around ten times longer than compact fluorescent equivalents. LED lamps reach full brightness immediately, and their light output does not fade over time. The light output for this lamp is rated by the manufacturer at 320 lumens.
