7w LED Light Bulb 60w Equiv. (Warm White)

We're pleased to have sourced this new high lumen output LED light bulb from quality manufacturer Topco in Taiwan at a breakthrough price. The lamp is is built around the recently introduced high performance CREE MX-6 chipset, and designed to replace standard light bulbs used throughout the home with a light output equivalent to a 60w incandescent (GLS) lamp. The bulb is light and compact, being only 107mm in length and 60mm in diameter. This Warm White 2700k version has a standard bayonet fitting.

The lamp is well constructed with a ceramic insulator and white powder coated cast alloy heatsink. The diffuser cap is formed in thick frosted polycarbonate, making it very tough and durable. The manufacturer cautiously estimates a 10,000 hour lifetime for this lamp, which equates to around 10 years average use, but we suspect that the actual working life of this lamp will be considerably longer. LED lightbulbs contain no mercury, emit no UV or IR light and last around ten times longer than compact fluorescent equivalents. LED lamps reach full brightness immediately, and their light output does not fade over time. The light output for this lamp is rated by the manufacturer at 450 lumens.
